Visiting
Everwinter is a new festive experience running at the RDS in Dublin from 25 November to 23 December 2026.
It brings together a covered ice rink, Robert Fossett's Circus in a traditional big top, a winter market featuring Irish makers, a vintage fairground and plenty of festive food and drink.
Everwinter is independently organised and operated by Equinox Events and hosted at the RDS.
The full event runs from 25 November to 23 December 2026, Tuesday to Sunday.
Tuesday to Friday: 2pm to 9pm. Saturday and Sunday: 12pm to 9pm. Closed Mondays.
The ice rink stays open until 10pm, with the final session starting at 9pm.
The ice rink will reopen from 26 December to 3 January.

The Christmas market, Robert Fossett's Circus and vintage fairground finish on 23 December.
It depends on how much you'd like to do.
Allow around an hour to explore the market and enjoy some food and drink.
If you're ice skating and seeing Robert Fossett's Circus too, we recommend allowing around two and a half hours.
Yes. Everwinter has been created for families, friends, couples and groups.
Individual attractions may have age or height restrictions.
Yes. Buggies are welcome throughout the market and wider event site.
They must be parked before entering the ice rink, circus big top and certain fairground rides.
Pets are not permitted. Guide dogs and accredited assistance dogs are welcome.
Everwinter will operate in most weather conditions. The ice rink and Robert Fossett's Circus are covered.
Some outdoor attractions may temporarily close during severe weather or high winds.

Tickets
Advance booking is strongly recommended, particularly for weekends and popular ice skating and circus sessions.
Tickets may be available from the box office on the day, subject to capacity.
General entry is €2.50 per adult.
Children aged 12 and under enter free but still require a child ticket.
€0.50 from every paid entry ticket supports the RDS Foundation.
General entry includes access to the Christmas market, live music, food and drink areas and the wider event site.
Ice skating, Robert Fossett's Circus and fairground rides are booked separately.
Yes. If you pre-book ice skating or Robert Fossett's Circus, general event entry for that day is included.
Yes. Children aged 12 and under enter Everwinter free of charge.
A free child ticket is still required so we can manage visitor numbers.
Ice skating, Robert Fossett's Circus and fairground rides are priced separately regardless of age.
Entry gets you in. Skating and the circus are booked on top, and both include your entry on the day.
Everything is timed, because we cap numbers on site to keep it comfortable.
A reduced rate applies from twelve people up. Book in one transaction to receive discount.

Rides are paid for on site with tokens, available at each ride and at the box office.
Tickets can be rescheduled up to seven days before your visit, subject to availability.
Tickets are non-refundable except where the event is cancelled or closed due to severe weather.
Affected ticket holders will be offered an alternative date or refund.
Yes. Reduced rates are available for groups of 12 or more, including school bookings.

Ice Skating
Each session lasts approximately 45 minutes.
Yes. Skate hire is included with your ticket.
Yes. Bringing your own skates does not change the ticket price.
Speed skates are not permitted and we cannot sharpen personal skates on site.
Children must be at least 3 years old to skate.
Anyone under 18 must be accompanied on the ice by a skating adult.
Yes. Weighted penguin skating aids are available on a first come, first served basis for children aged 10 and under who are shorter than 110cm.
Yes. The rink is wheelchair accessible.
Everwinter holds Public Liability insurance for the event site as a whole. However, please note that ice skating carries an inherent risk of falls. Participation in skating is entirely at your own risk, and Everwinter are not liable for any injuries sustained while using the rink.

Approximately 40 minutes.
Yes. The show is designed for all ages.
There are louder moments and changing lighting during the performance.
No. There are no animals in the show.
Yes. Photography from your seat is permitted without flash.
Fairground & Market
No. Rides are token operated and paid for separately.
Tokens can be purchased at the individual rides or at the box office.
Yes. Height and age restrictions vary by ride and are displayed at each attraction.
Yes. Access to the Christmas market is included with general event entry.
Most traders accept cards, although some may accept cash only.
Food & Drink
Yes. Vegetarian and vegan options will be available every day.
Yes. Please ask the individual trader before ordering.
No. Only food and drink purchased at the event may be consumed on site.
Accessibility
Yes. The event site is level throughout and the ice rink is wheelchair accessible.
Accessible viewing spaces are also available inside Robert Fossett's Circus.
Yes. Carer and companion tickets are available free of charge.
Yes. Sensory-friendly sessions will be available.

Getting Here
RDS, Merrion Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, D04 AK83.
Entry is from Merrion Road.
The RDS is easily reached by DART, Dublin Bus, coach services, taxi, on foot or by bicycle.
Lansdowne Road and Sandymount are both approximately five minutes away on foot.
No. There is no event parking available for Everwinter.
There is no Luas stop directly at the RDS.
Ranelagh is the closest, with the S2 bus connecting to Merrion Road.
All sound and moving or still picture rights, including on the internet, vest exclusively with the organisers. Any material filmed or recorded at the event may only be used for the personal, non profit enjoyment of amateurs. By entering the venue, ticket holders consent to being photographed, filmed or recorded as visitors attending the event, and consent to that image or recording being used in future marketing material for the event or its sponsors.
