Take to 600 square metres of real ice on our spectacular covered Christmas ice rink at the RDS.

Whether you're a confident skater, finding your feet or bringing the kids for their first time on the ice, this is one experience you won't want to miss.

And because the rink is covered, you can enjoy the wonder whatever the Irish weather decides to do.

Sessions start every hour and last 45 minutes, giving you plenty of time to find your feet, build your confidence, and enjoy the rink.

Skate hire is included with your ticket, with a wide range of sizes available.

Already have your own skates? You're welcome to bring them too.

Marshals will be on the ice throughout every session to help keep everyone safe.

Skating with children

First time on the ice? Children aged 3+ can join in the fun.

Weighted penguin skating aids are available on a first come, first served basis for children aged 10 and under who are shorter than 110cm.

Anyone under 18 must be accompanied on the ice by a skating adult.

Before You Skate

Wear warm, comfortable layers.
Gloves are highly recommended.
Arrive 15 minutes before your session to collect and fit your skates.
Skate hire is included in your ticket.

Skating carries an inherent risk, and participants skate at their own risk. Our rink team and marshals will be there throughout every session.
